MISSION STATEMENT
Each and every one of us have been touched in one way or another by cancer and/or ill-health. Any relief or comfort is invaluable to both the patient and their loved ones. I have trained and continue to develop treatments using Lindi Skin to help alleviate pain, discomfort and anxiety associated with radiation, chemotherapy and surgery. I believe that by integrating modern medicine and complementary practices under the watchful eyes of our doctors and surgeons that optimum results can be yielded for long-term wellness.
As a registered, qualified, practicing Massage and Reflexology Therapist, my belief is that “Complementary Therapies” compliment the clinical work carried out by our doctors, surgeons and health care professionals. The very nature of complementary therapies compliment modern medicine by helping to improve patient comfort, reduce stress and anxiety levels; promote wellbeing and relaxation all of which help to speed up a patients healing process. I am not an advocate of working outside the clinical/medical system and do not believe that complementary therapies can replace conventional medicine, but rather they can work together to help improve the journey patients are forced to endure in order to combat illness.
My Father is a cancer survivor therefore I have an in depth understanding and appreciation for all the work carried out by health care professionals. I also have a in depth understanding of how simple, natural treatments can help combat and/or ease some of the common side effects that people may experience whilst undergoing radiotherapy and chemotherapy treatments.
